St. Luke the Evangelist

Today, we’re celebrating the Feast of St. Luke the Evangelist, with a special focus on healing. We’re also remembering World Food Day (Saturday) - so appropriate as food security is integrally related to healing. Our Service will reflect both themes throughout. Norman is preaching; our Virtual Choir is leading us in 4 Hymns; Murray and Dinah are on video sharing the First and Second Readings; Dinah is on audio, leading us in the Prayers of the People; LA has picked 3 videos to assist us in our Stewardship reflection; and we’re sharing Communion together, physically (with the Reserved Sacrament we’ve picked up from the Office Mon. to Fri. between 9 and noon, or by appointment) or spiritually! It promises to be a wonderful time of sharing together with our Lord and one another!

Today’s Service of Holy Eucharist will be livestreamed on our main Facebook page ( at 9:30 am. Following the service, the video will be posted on our YouTube Channel, and a link to the service will be added here. To watch this service in full screen mode, please click on the “Watch on YouTube” button in the lower left-hand corner of the video.   Please download the Order of Service in the Sermon Notes above if you would like to follow along. If you are sharing this Service online and don’t have Reserved Sacrament, you are invited to say the Prayer for Communion for those receiving Spiritual Communion also available above.
