Canticle 18a (Magnificat), Isaiah 7:10-15, Luke 2:1-7
Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost

This week, Norman is officiating, and helping us celebrate the Feast of St. Mary the Virgin. We'll remember her "Yes" to God's invitation, which led to Jesus' being conceived in her, and born for the life of the world. Betty is assisting, Kerry is reading, and Brian is leading the Prayers of the People. In the Prayers, we’re including the second of several weeks’ Prayers for Healing and Reconciliation from the National Church, and a Prayer in Response to COVID-19 penned by the Moderator of the United Church of Canada. Our Virtual Choir is leading our Congregational singing of 5 hymns, including 2 during Communion, and sharing an anthem during the Offertory.

Today’s Service of Holy Eucharist will be livestreamed on our main Facebook page ( at 9:30 am.
