All Saints Sunday
“Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.” — Revelation 7:10
Salvation belongs to God. It is His gift of grace, made known to us through Jesus Christ. Our rescue, deliverance, and redemption do not come through our own strength, human effort, or merit, but through God's unfailing love and mercy. This All Saints Sunday, we celebrate the faithfulness of God and remember all those who have gone before us in faith. We give thanks for their witness, their courage, their love, and the ways their lives reflected the light of Christ. All Saints Sunday reminds us that we are part of something greater than ourselves. We belong to God's family, united in Christ across generations. Those who have gone before us have left a legacy of faith, and we are called to continue that journey, living out the love, hope, and grace we have received.
And what does this mean for us? It means we do not walk alone. God is with us through every season of life. His grace sustains us, His love surrounds us, and His promises give us hope. It reminds us that our lives are held in God's hands, that death does not have the final word, and that our hope rests in Jesus Christ, whose love and victory are everlasting. This Sunday, let us give thanks for the saints who have inspired us, celebrate the faith we share, and renew our commitment to follow Christ in our daily lives. Salvation belongs to our God and to the Lamb.
