AWAKE & READY “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” — Matthew 22:37 “We love because he first loved us.” — 1 John 4:19
What does it mean to love God with our whole being? It begins with this beautiful truth: God loved us first. Before we ever turned our hearts toward Him, He had already shown us His grace, mercy, and faithfulness. Jesus reminds us that the greatest commandment is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbour as ourselves.
In these two commandments, we find the heart of all the Law and the Prophets. — Matthew 22:40
Loving God is more than words or feelings. It is trusting Him, seeking Him in our daily lives, and allowing His love to shape how we live and treat others. We do not love God to earn His love. We love Him because He has loved us first. So what does it mean to be AWAKE & READY? To awaken to God's love, to respond with our whole hearts, and to share that love with everyone we meet.
This Sunday, we’ll reflect on what it means to love God wholeheartedly and how His love transforms the way we love one another. Come as you are. Come ready to worship, listen, and grow in God's love. He loved us first. We are called to love Him with all that we are and to let His love flow through us to others. Are you awake to His love? Are you ready to respond?Today’s Service of Holy Eucharist should be livestreamed on both our YouTube Channel and this website at 10:00 am.
