The 19th Sunday after Pentecost - “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings.” - Philippians 3:10
Resurrection power. Cross-shaped living. One Christ. One journey. Paul says, “I want to know Christ.” Not simply to know about him - but to know him. To know the power of his resurrection. To share in his suffering. To take up our cross daily and follow him.
Because the Christian life is not simply about what we believe. It is about how we live. Day by day, step by step,
cross in hand, heart turned toward God.
The Scriptures remind us that we come “in the volume of the book”- our lives written into God's greater story -
to say with Christ: “I have come to do your will, O God.” That is the journey. To know Christ. To follow Christ. To carry our cross. To do the will of God. And to trust that beyond the cross stands the power of resurrection.
So come. Come with your questions. Come with your burdens. Come with your hope. Come with the cross you carry today. Come to know Christ. Come to follow him. Come to do God’s will. And come discover again that the cross is not the end. Resurrection is.
Come as you are. Come and follow. Come and know Christ.
