It’s the Fourth Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of love. Each year on this Sunday, we share together Lessons and Carols at our main Sunday Service. We’re continuing this tradition, but this year, we’re also ending the Service with our Sunday School’s Christmas Pageant, entitled “The Christmas Story.” It’s most appropriate to end the Sunday of love this way, as the Christmas Story is a story of love from start to finish!
There’s no Holy Eucharist at this Service. When our Liturgy ends, the service begins, with a “Sending” forth into the world to spread, in word and in deed, Our Lord’sreign of hope, peace, joy, and love.
