Christmas Eve
EVERYONE'S INVITED TO SHARE OUR CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES tonight, a 5:00 P.M. Service especially for children and their families, and a 7:30 p.m. Service especially for teens and adults!
Both Services have the beloved congregational Christmas Hymns: “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “Joy to the World,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” and “While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks,” all led by our Choir; “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” led by the Choir of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, Ontario; and, of course, “Silent Night” by candlelight, again led by our Choir. The 5:00 also has the children’s favourite, “Away in a Manger.” In both Services, our Choir is singing an anthem. In both, we’re lighting the Christ candle on the Advent Wreath, blessing the crib of the Nativity Scene, and sharing special Christmas Prayers of the People. The Prayers at 5:00, most appropriately for our Family Service, are led by the father-son duo of Stacy and Freddie. We have a husband and wife duo at 7:30, with Kerry sharing the First Reading, and Doreen leading the Prayers. We have a fun, interactive “Hallelujah-Awww” Nativity Story at 5:00 from our third EPIC Event; Fergus will be sharing a Homily at 7:30. And in both 5:00 and 7:30 Services, we’ll be sharing Spiritual Communion together. It’s a most precious celebration of Jesus' birth, not to be missed! Please spread the word, and invite family and friends to share these experiences of Christmas worship with you!
The 5:00 pm service is posted on our YouTube channel.
The 7:30 p.m. Service will be live streamed on Facebook. Go to
