It’s Holy Cross Sunday and Back to Church Sunday. We have these themes throughout, and as part of our Gospel, are looking at one of the most famous Holy Scripture verses, John 3:16 (which says that "God so loved the world" that God gave us Jesus)! We’re blessed to have Norman with us to share the Gospel and his Homily, and to have Keith read our First Lesson. Our music is on both keyboard and guitar, with the blessing of our Choir recorded to help lead us in our Opening Hymn. As part of our Children’s Time, were also singing together “We are the Church,” with the accompanying actions. The Prayers of the People feature a Prayer in Response to COVID-19 penned by Kerry Weber, Executive Editor of America magazine. And, we’re ending the Service by receiving our hearts with thanksgiving the One who loves us enough to lay down his life for us, as we share Spiritual Communion together.
