Acts 2:42-47, Psalm 23, John 10:1-10
Fourth Sunday of Easter

Today, Good Shepherd Sunday, we celebrate the wonderful truth that the Lord is our Shepherd, and explore life under our Good Shepherd's care.

As always, our Psalm this year is Psalm 23, and our Gospel Reading is from John 10. Our Epistle is another famous part of Scripture, the description of the Lord’s flock at the end of Acts 2. Our Choir will be helping us sing the Hymns, including “The King of Love My Shepherd is.” During the Offertory, we’ll listen to an instrumental version of “The Lord’s My Shepherd,” using the Brother James' Air tune. We’ll have a fun song for the children, “I Just Want to be a Sheep,” with lots of actions! And we’ll have special prayers in response to the flooding in northern Alberta, in response to COVID-19, and for all those especially struggling.
