Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent - a time of repentance, reflection, and renewal. During the service, ashes are placed on the forehead as a symbol of our mortality and God’s forgiveness. The ancient words “from dust to dust” and “ashes to ashes” call us to remember our humble beginnings and God’s endless grace. All are welcome.
