Galatians 4:4-7, John 1:1-14
First Sunday after Christmas

It’s the First Sunday of Christmas – for us at St. Paul’s, the only Sunday in the Christmas Season (as we’re celebrating the Feast of the Epiphany on Jan. 3)! Look for more great Christmas music, with “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing,” “Go, Tell It on the Mountain,” and “The First Nowell” as congregational Hymns (all led by our “Virtual” Choir); and “Good Christians All, Rejoice” sung by our Choir during the Offertory! Norman is officiating, and preaching on the Christmas Gospel John 1:1-14. Doreen is giving the First Reading. Dinah is leading us in the Incarnation Litany from the BAS and a special Prayer During a Pandemic penned by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Scranton, Pennsylvania. And we're remembering that Emmanuel, God with us, came to be with us that he might be within us as well, filling us with his life and love, as we receive Jesus in our hearts with thanksgiving, as we share Spiritual Communion together. Then, our Liturgy ends, and the service begins, as we go forth to “tell on the mountain,” the Good News of Jesus’ birth and all it means, through our words and our deeds.
